Minh Chau Island is an island commune of Van Don Island District (Quang Ninh), about 15 km from Quan Lan Island. The number of tourists to Minh Chau island is increasing, and to accommodate their visit, Ngoc The 68 Speedboat launched a speedboat service on May 11th.
Ngoc The 68 can accommodate 48 people and has invested over 2.3 billion to equip the craft with safety systems and maximum comfort. The operation of Ngoc The 68 will shorten the distance between Minh Chau and the mainland, serving both locals and tourists alike. The average running time for each route between Cai Rong and Minh Chau is 40-45 minutes/ trip. There are two to five trips per a day to Minh Chau Island. The company’s representative said that they will continue to invest in modern facilities to serve tourists in the future.
