If you love sports and jogging, you should not miss the Halong Bay Heritage Marathon in November 2017. Taking part in the largest international marathon in the North of Vietnam, you can admire the beauty of Halong Bay and have the opportunity to meet the same passionate friends.

Halong Bay Heritage Marathon, one of the biggest, most professional and well-organized International Marathon in Vietnam, is held annually on the last Saturday of November. The race aims to foster a healthy and positive environment where running enthusiasts can challenge themselves, as well as meet and share their experiences with like minded athletes.

The course starts from Quang Ninh Museum Library and across Bai Chay Bridge – the longest single span bridge in Southeast Asia, and has spectacular views from above to the magnificent landscape of Halong Bay. The route continues through picturesque mountains and coastlines along the bay, dotted with  beautiful fishing villages, before finishing back at Quang Ninh Museum Library.

Halong Bay Heritage Marathon encourages all ages and genders to join the race. You can join with your kids or the whole family. For tourists (domestic and international), this is a chance to combine running a marathon with traveling.

“With diverse running distances: a 42.195km marathon, a 21.1km half-marathon, a 10km run and a 5km fun run, everyone can join and experience this unique course, competing against other runners and yourself in ideal weather conditions”, said one of the organisers of Halong Bay Heritage Marathon.

The race of this year will be hold on 25th November, 2017 at Quang Ninh Museum. The Early Bird Registration ends at 30th June, 2017 and The Late Registration from 1st October to 12th November at http://halongmarathon.com/registration/
