One of our greatest vacations began from a simple search on the Internet. We came across 4 words that perfectly described what we wanted: Luxury Cruise Halong Bay. The website of this travel company, owned and operated by Mr. Ha Pham, offers various upscale cruises in Halong Bay and other luxury travel services. What we look for is the luxurious, adventurous, unique, wonderful and a new experience. With a click of the mouse it was done, and I couldn’t wait to get out of the city for the weekend to discover Halong Bay.
Stepping out of the private car in Ha Long City, I was met by the staff from the Indochina Sails Junk, a new brand service of Huong Hai Company. We rode in a small speed boat to join the junk which was impressively comfortable and speedy. I remember my last trip to Halong Bay, I had to wait at the dock amongst a huge crowd of tourists and a jungle of boats. This was a much improved experience because of the speedboat trip.
My best memory is of staying aboard a luxury junk, decked out in wooden furniture and pure opulence. The cruise itinerary was unique, and I was impressed by the personal service. You are welcomed with a cocktail, and we enjoyed great food, personal service and a sense of luxury. It was more like being in a floating 5-star hotel than on a boat!

My deluxe room on the upper floor was impressive, with everything you’d expect in a five-star hotel. I enjoyed the marble bathroom, took a blissful shower before going up on deck for a drink and seeing the impressive sunset over the bay. I lay down and let my mind escape, marveling at the sky in the beautiful and clear afternoon. The sound of the waves lapping on the boat’s hull as we cruised leisurely through a maze of small, rocky islands jutting from the emerald water was a joy to behold.
The boat offers kayaking, boating and fishing activities. My travel colleagues and I enjoyed ourselves, out in the middle of nature, and we spent time relaxing over a few glasses of wine at sunset.. Other guests enjoyed swimming on Soysim Beach .
The dinner truly befits an emperor and we met some lovely people on board. Sitting next to me, was a British couple,and over some fine wine, we shared our experiences of 10 days in Vietnam. They were on their honeymoon, and spoke very highly of Luxury Travel Company who had taken care of them throughout the trip.”The service we received from Luxury Travel is world class service and this cruise wonderful”, said Bernadette Tompar.
